The Journal of Agricultural Technology and Food Systems (JATAFS) is committed to advancing Open Science by promoting transparency, accessibility, reproducibility, and collaboration throughout the research and publication process.

This policy aligns with the principles and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, and international best practices in scholarly publishing.

JATAFS encourages authors, where appropriate, to:

  • Use persistent identifiers such as ORCID iDs and DOIs.

  • Follow recognized reporting guidelines.

  • Provide transparent methodological descriptions.

These practices improve the reproducibility and reliability of published research.

Authors are encouraged to use persistent identifiers, including:

Persistent identifiers improve discoverability, attribution, and long-term accessibility.

The Editorial Office supports Open Science by:

  • Encouraging transparent reporting.

  • Promoting the use of persistent identifiers.

  • Supporting data and software citation.

  • Maintaining Open Access publishing.
